For the VW Corrado 2.9L VR6, there is nothing more classic than BBS wheels and Supersprint headers and exhaust.

We started developing our stainless, tubular headers in 1992 on the Golf 2.8L VR6, moving forward with the introduction of the 2.9L engine upgrade, and ended up with two distinct versions, which we built for Hartmann Motorsport and for Oettinger in Germany.
Each type of headers had been made with a specific layout, featuring different primary lenghts and runner diameter, based upon the Tuners' individual requirement.
While the Oettinger headers had equal-lenght primaries, Hartmann's headers featured different lenght runners, which made up for the varying lenght and for the narrower cross-section, longer path of the three front cilynders' exhaust ports, encased within the engine head.
Interesting concepts for sure, each with a different idea behind the flowing dynamics, both sharing the common goal of increasing the engine performance.
Fast forward to 2020, we still offer the Supersprint original headers to the Corrado VR6 loyal owners, in the Oettinger-spec version, completed by our oversized-diameter full exhaust.
