Here is the Supersprint performance headers and stainless full exhaust system for the 2007-2010 Alpina B5 S. The Supercharged N62N V8 engine has a restrictive header + integrated catalytic; unfortunately, it is the same component that comes standard on the BMW 550i. As this poor design proved to be overly restrictive on that 367 hp N/A engine to start with, it can only be twice as bad on the much stronger, 530 Hp Alpina engine. However, that is what it is; blame it on the stringent emission regulations. The Alpina B5 S really needs a free-flowing exhaust, in order to exert its full potential, and to relieve the thermal stress in the area of the exhaust ports on the heads. We at Supersprint did just that, designing a long tube headers system, mated to a set of high-volume HJS Motorsport catalytics, placed further downstream, away from the engine heads. Also, we designed an oversize diameter, dual-pipe cat back exhaust, with a unique, variable sound, flap rear muffler. This Supersprint full exhaust provides for a massive increase in torque and peak hp, a healty reduction in weight, and guarantees a throaty, gorgeous sound at the same time. We strongly believe that this is a must-have for every serious B5 S owner.
