This Supersprint system had become very popular among the tuning scene in Germany, beginning in the 1980s.
The 3.5L, naturally aspirated I-6 engine, modified and tuned by Alpina, and by Hartge as well, craved for oversized, long runner tubular headers and a for a free-flowing, large diameter dual-line exhaust.
Supersprint developed stainless headers with the ideal diameter and lenght on the primaries and on the downpipes sections, which guaranteed the biggest performance gains.
Also, our mid resonator and rear muffler, with their straight-thru design, inner perforated dual cores, provided for a lower exhaust gas backpressure and for an awesome sound.
Fast forward to 2020, we still offer this same exhaust for all of the E30 custom projects with the conversion to the M30 engine.
